Sandra Bear Killed, Adria Taylor Injured in Crash on FM 1374 in Walker County

Sandra Bear Killed and Adria Taylor Injured in Walker County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1374 and Texas Grand Road

Walker County, Texas – One person was killed and another was critically injured Saturday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Walker County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 6:15 p.m., January 13, on FM 1374 and Texas Grand Road.

DPS said a 2016 Kia Optima was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a 2014 Honda CRV.

The Honda driver, Sandra Kay Bear, 62, from Huntsville, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Kia driver, Adria Nicole Taylor, 21, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

No other details were provided.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
