Man Dies in Dallas Train Accident at Market Center Station between Commonwealth Drive and Mockingbird Lane

Dallas, Texas (August 12, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train Saturday morning in Dallas, according to a local news source.

The tragic accident took place at about 7:52 a.m. Saturday, August 10 just west of the Medical/Market Center Station between Commonwealth Drive and Mockingbird Lane.

As per the report, the man was hit by a TRE 3917 train. He had the right-of-way when the accident occurred.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
