One Killed, One Injured in Head-On Crash on FM 4 near Cleburne

44-Year-Old Weatherford Man Killed in Cleburne Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 4

Cleburne, Texas (July 8, 2020) – One person was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash, west of Cleburne, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash happened around 10:00 a.m. July 7, on FM 4 near FM 2331.

Officials said a passenger vehicle was traveling westbound on the highway when it approached the S-curve in the roadway and as it was turning, it crossed into the oncoming lanes and crashed head-on into a pickup truck which was hauling a trailer.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 44-year-old Weatherford man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pickup driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
