Jack Schwantz and Charles Schwantz Killed in Tarrant County Plane Crash 

Azle, Texas (August 24, 2021) – The two people who were killed Saturday morning in a plane crash in Tarrant County have been identified as Charles Schwantz, 55, and his son, Jack Schwantz, 18, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

The crash happened around 9:00 a.m., August 21, near Confederate Park Road and Flying Oaks Airport.

Authorities said Charles was piloting the single-engine Aeronca 7AC when it crashed.

Both Charles and Jack were killed in the crash.

Jack was an Azle High School senior.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
