Andrew Ramirez Killed in Midland County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1787

Midland County, Texas (August 22, 2020) – According to the Texas DPS, a man was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Midland County.

The fatal crash occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m., August 19, on Farm-to-Market Road, 16 miles south of Odessa.

DPS said Andrew Ramirez, 57, of Odessa, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado eastbound when a westbound Mack truck towing a semi-trailer entered the eastbound lane and hit the Silverado.

Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The truck driver, a 41-year-old Crane man, was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
