Sarah Marie Gee Killed in San Marcos Pedestrian Crash on Post Road

San Marcos, Texas (August 20, 2019) – Sarah Marie Gee, 31, was killed when she was hit by a vehicle while riding a motorized scooter on Sunday night near San Marcos, according to the authorities.

The incident took place at about 7:10 p.m. August 18, on Post Road.

DPS said Gee was riding the scooter northbound on Post Road when she crossed the double yellow lines and was hit by an oncoming 1998 flatbed trailer that was being towed by a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Gee was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge, David Lois Peterson, 64, was not injured.

The crash is under investigation.
