Ethel Rojas Killed in Bellmead Pedestrian Crash on Bellmead Drive]

Bellmead, Texas (February 5, 2019) – A woman was fatally hit by a vehicle in Bellmead late night on January 26, according to the Bellmead Police Department.
The crash took place just after 11:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Bellmead Drive.
Police said Ethel Rojas, 58, of Waco was crossing the road near a Chevron convenience store when a westbound car driven by a 16-year-old hit her.
Rojas was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
The crash is under investigation.
