Jorge Solval Killed in San Benito Train-Pedestrian Accident on Whalen Road

San Benito, Texas (February 8, 2022) – A man was fatally hit by a train on Saturday in San Benito, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened on February 5, near the 200 block of Whalen Road.

Police said Jorge Daniel Solval, from Rio Hondo, was struck by a train and was found by officers lying near the railroad tracks.

Solval was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information was available.
