One Injured in San Antonio Bicycle Accident on North Mesquite and East Houston Street

San Antonio, Texas (February 29, 2020) – A female bicyclist was struck by a van Friday night in San Antonio, a local news source reported.

The accident occurred at about 10:41 p.m. February 28, in the area of North Mesquite and East Houston Street.

According to the report, a couple was riding their bicycles when a van attempted to go around them. The female cyclist slightly turned her bicycle into the path of the van and was hit.

The van driver stopped at the scene after the accident.

The victim was treated at the scene for her injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
