44-Year-Old Man Killed in Car Accident on I-10 in San Antonio

44-Year-Old Man Killed in San Antonio Car Crash on I-10 near UTSA Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas (May 3, 2020) – A 44-year-old man was killed Saturday night in a traffic collision in San Antonio, according to police.

The fatal crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. May 2, on I-10 near UTSA Boulevard.

Police said the man’s SUV was stalled on the highway when it was struck by an eastbound pickup truck.

A woman tried to avoid the crash, and she lost control of her vehicle and crashed. She was treated at the scene.

The SUV driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
