Man Killed in Laredo Pedestrian Accident on Highway 359 and Riata Road

Laredo, Texas (April 17, 2023) – A man in his 60s was killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in Laredo, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:30 p.m., April 12, on Highway 359 and Riata Road.

Police said a tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound in the outer lane when it struck the man who was on the highway.

The driver stopped to render aid and contacted 911.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
