Susan Lee Killed in Amarillo Pedestrian Accident on Bell Street

Amarillo, Texas (September 27, 2020) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident Saturday morning in Amarillo, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 7:01 a.m., September 26, in the 4500 block of Bell Street.

Police said Susan Lee, 56, of Amarillo, was walking eastbound across the street, outside of a crosswalk, when she was hit by a northbound Range Rover.

Lee was pronounced dead at the scene.

The involved driver was uninjured in the crash.

The Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department is investigating the crash.
