Man Hit, Killed by City Vehicle at Goliad and Southeast Military Drive in San Antonio

Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at Goliad and Southeast Military Drive

San Antonio, Texas (March 20, 2021) – A man was fatally hit by a city vehicle Thursday morning in San Antonio’s Southeast Side, according to police.

The deadly accident happened just before 10:00 a.m., March 18, at the intersection of Southeast Military Drive and Goliad Road.

Police said a city employee was checking a gauge and clearing the water drainage area at a ditch at the intersection. When the employee began to drive off, they ran over a man who was covered in debris and clothing.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The city employee remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
