Jerry Mercer Struck, Killed by Vehicle on FM 1264 in North Lubbock County

Jerry Mercer Killed in North Lubbock County Pedestrian Accident at FM 1264 and CR 6100

Lubbock County, Texas – A man died Wednesday night after he was struck by a vehicle in North Lubbock County, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened just after 10:00 p.m., January 10, at the intersection of FM 1264 and CR 6100.

Authorities said 38-year-old Jerry Mercer was walking along the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling northbound on FM 1264.

Mercer was taken to UMC where he later died.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
