54-Year-Old Mario Arriaga Killed in Temple Pedestrian Crash on Scott Boulevard

Temple, Texas (March 13, 2019) – A man who was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Monday night in Temple died of his injuries.
According to the Temple police, the incident was reported around 9:20 p.m. March 11 in the 1500 block of Scott  Boulevard.
The officers found the victim lying in the roadway in the location. He was rushed to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The victim was later identified as Mario Arriaga, 54, of Temple.
There were no immediate details on the driver or vehicle involved.
The Temple Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
