69-Year-Old Woman Injured in Bexar County Pedestrian Accident at O’Connor Road and Misty Ridge Drive; Tyrill Benjamin Arrested

Bexar County, Texas – According to officials, Tyrill Antonio Benjamin has been arrested in connection to the hit-and-run accident that left a woman injured in December in Bexar County.

The accident happened on December 21, O’Connor Road and Misty Ridge Drive.

Officials said a 69-year-old woman was walking to work when she was struck by a vehicle believed to be driven by Benjamin. Benjamin initially stopped and then quickly left the scene.

The woman was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries including a broken pelvis, several broken bones, severe facial injuries, and missing teeth.

Benjamin was later arrested and he told officers he thought he had hit a dog. He has been charged with collision involving serious bodily injury.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
