2 Drivers Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Queen Isabella Causeway in South Padre Island

Two Drivers Hospitalized after South Padre Island Crash on Queen Isabella Memorial Bridge

South Padre Island, Texas (June 27, 2022) – Two drivers were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in South Padre Island on Sunday afternoon, according to a local news source.

The wreck took place on the Queen Isabella Memorial Bridge on Sunday, June 26.

As per the report, two vehicles were involved in the crash. Details on what led up to the accident were not immediately available.

Both drivers were taken to a hospital in unknown conditions.

Westbound lanes were closed following the wreck. As of 2:00 p.m., the lanes were reopened back to traffic.
