William Gray Killed in Four-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 377 in Whitesboro

William Gray Killed, 2 Injured in Whitesboro Four-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 377 at Gunter Road

Whitesboro, Texas (November 8, 2019) – One person was killed, and two others were injured in a four-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Whitesboro, according to a local news source reported.

The fatal crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on November 6, on U.S. Highway 377 at Gunter Road.

Troopers said a vehicle was heading southbound on the highway when it rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped to turn left at Gunter Road. The impact pushed that vehicle into the northbound lane where it was hit by another vehicle.

One of the drivers, William Gray, 67, of Whitesboro, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two of the other three drivers were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
