1 Injured in Hit-and-Run on West Woodlawn Avenue in San Antonio

One Seriously Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on West Woodlawn Avenue near North Elemendorf Street

San Antonio, Texas (August 16, 2022) – One person was seriously injured early Monday morning in a hit-and-run crash on San Antonio’s West Side, according to the police.

The crash happened around 12:45 a.m., August 15, on West Woodlawn Avenue near North Elemendorf Street.

Police said a red sedan was involved in a crash and the driver fled the scene. The sedan then T-boned another car and drove through a nearby fence.

Four passengers in the sedan fled the scene, but the female driver became stuck and was arrested.

A passenger in the other car was taken to University Hospital in serious condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
