One Hospitalized after Montrose Fire Truck Accident at Westheimer Road and Commonwealth Street
Montrose, Texas (May 2, 2019) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening at a Montrose intersection, according to the police.
The crash happened on Wednesday, May 1, in the area of Westheimer Road and Commonwealth Street.
Police said a fire truck and a car were heading in the same direction when the car driver attempted to make a turn in front of the truck from a middle lane, resulting in a collision.
Fire officials said the fire truck was on the way to a reported house fire in Montrose when the accident happened.
The car driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Both directions of Westheimer Road were closed following the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
