1 Dies in Crosby Explosion at KMCO Chemical Plant near Old Highway 90

Crosby, Texas (April 4, 2019) – One employee was killed and two others badly injured in an explosion and fire at a chemical plant in Crosby on Tuesday, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at the KMCO chemical plant off old Highway 90 on Tuesday, April 2.
The authorities said a preliminary investigation showed that a chemical may have ignited and exploded.
One victim died at the scene while two others were taken to a hospital for treatment of serious burns.
