One Killed in SW Houston Cement Truck Crash on Mykawa Road at Madden Lane

Houston, Texas (October 27, 2020) – One person was killed early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in the Hobby area, according to police.

The crash happened around 1:15 a.m., in the 10000 block of Mykawa Road at Madden Lane.

According to police, the driver of a cement truck said he was turning left onto Mykawa when he was hit by a speeding Toyota Avalon.

The Avalon driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
