Woman Killed in Edinburg Pedestrian Accident on Alamo Road near Davis Road

Edinburg, Texas (June 15, 2021) – A woman was killed Monday morning in a pedestrian accident in Edinburg, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened just before 1:00 a.m., June 14, on Alamo Road, south of Davis Road. 

DPS said the woman was crossing the road when she crossed into the path of a northbound vehicle and was hit.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The driver was uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
