8-Year-Old Girl Airlifted after Harris County Car Accident at Old Bammel North Houston and State Highway 249

Harris County, Texas (June 19, 2019) – A child was seriously injured Tuesday night in a rear-end crash in Harris County, according to a local news report.

The accident was reported just before 10: 00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at the intersection of Old Bammel North Houston and State Highway 249.

First responders arrived at the scene and found two vehicles with moderate damage blocking the intersection.

An 8-year-old girl, who was in the back seat of the Chevy HHR, was airlifted to a local trauma center with major injuries.

Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
