32-Year-Old Steven Lee Matthews Killed in Northeast El Paso Pedestrian Accident at Diana and Vulcan

El Paso, Texas (February 23, 2020) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday night in Northeast El Paso, according to the police.

The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. February 21, at the intersection of Diana and Vulcan.

Police said 32-year old Steven Lee Matthews was crossing the street when he was hit by a pickup truck driven by 48-year-old Jesus Barrios.

Matthews was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.

An investigation is underway.
