Weslaco, Texas – A 79-year-old man was injured Wednesday afternoon in a pedestrian accident in Weslaco, according to the police.

The accident happened around 3:00 p.m., April 3, at the intersection of the frontage road and Texas Boulevard.

Police said the man was run over by a vehicle at the intersection. He was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

No other details were provided.

The Weslaco PD is investigating the crash. Anyone with any information about the accident is asked to come forward and assist in the inquiries.
