Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Greenspoint Drive

Houston, Texas – A man in his 50s died after he was involved in a hit-and-run accident Friday night in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:15 p.m., March 15, in the 12000 block of Greenspoint Drive.

Police said the man was crossing the road, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a northbound vehicle.

The vehicle, a silver SUV, fled the scene after the accident. 

The man was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest where he was pronounced dead on Sunday, March 17.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information regarding the crash or the identity of the driver is asked to contact the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4072. Anonymous tips can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. The case has been filed under the incident number #038218324-H.
