Michael Burrell Killed in Amarillo Motorcycle Crash at Llano Estacado Boulevard and Shady Lane

Amarillo, Texas (October 21, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision on Saturday at an Amarillo intersection near Clovis, according to the police.

The accident happened on Saturday, October 19, in the area of Llano Estacado Boulevard and Shady Lane.

Police said Michael Burrell, 51, was riding a motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with a red 2014 Mazda 6 at the intersection.

Burrell was taken to Plains Regional Med Center where he later died.

The Mazda driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
