Chad Brooks Killed in Covington Motorcycle Accident on S Main Street

Chad Brooks ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Covington Crash on S Main Street

Hill County, Texas (April 10, 2023) – The Covington Police Department has identified the motorcyclist who died following a traffic crash late Saturday night in Covington as Chad Brooks, 43, of Covington.

The deadly crash happened in the 500 block of S. Main Street on Saturday, April 8.

Covington police said Brooks was riding his motorcycle on S. Main Street when he collided with a car in front of the liquor store.

Brooks was flown to the trauma center at JPS in Fort Worth, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

A second person was transported by ground ambulance to a Fort Worth hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
