Firefighter Injured in SW Houston Ambulance Crash on Keegan Road at Huntington Park Drive

Houston, Texas (October 11, 2020) – A firefighter was injured Saturday morning in an ambulance crash in southwest Houston, according to police.

The collision happened just after 8:30 a.m., October 10, in the 9900 block of Keegan Road at Huntington Park Drive.

Police said an ambulance was transporting a patient with its lights and siren activated when it failed to yield at the intersection and crashed into a pickup truck.

The pickup truck ended up in a ditch after the collision.

A firefighter was taken to Memorial Hermann in the Texas Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The pickup truck driver and the patient who was being transported were uninjured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
