One Killed in East Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash at Ross Avenue and North Peak Street

Dallas, Texas (March 5, 2021) – According to a local news source, one person was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Old East Dallas.

The crash happened around 2:15 a.m., at the intersection of Ross Avenue and North Peak Street, just east of Central Expressway.

According to the report, Grand Prairie police tried to pull over a stolen truck on Interstate 20 around 2:00 a.m., but the driver took off.

When the truck entered Dallas, it exited the interstate.

The truck then ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into another vehicle.

One person in the vehicle that was hit by the truck was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Two people inside the stolen truck were arrested.

The police are investigating the crash.
