Arturo Jasso and Alan Martinez Injured in Lower Valley Two-Vehicle Crash on North Loop and Carolina Drive

Lower Valley, Texas (September 7, 2022) – Two people were injured Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in the Lower Valley, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 10:54 p.m., September 2, at the intersection of 7500 North Loop and 500 Carolina Drive.

Authorities said a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro was traveling eastbound on North Loop at a high rate of speed while a 1994 Chevrolet S-10 was heading eastbound on Carolina Drive.

The Chevrolet S-10 made a left turn and was struck by the Chevrolet Camaro, causing it to split in half.

The cabin of the truck rolled over.

The Chevrolet Camaro driver, 19-year-old Arturo Jasso, the Chevrolet S-10 driver, 26-year-old Alan Ruben Sanchez Martinez, and the passenger of the Camaro were taken to the hospital for treatment. 

No other information was provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
