Illianna Martinez Dies after Austin Car Crash on Teri Road and Palo Blanco Lane

Austin, Texas (April 2, 2019) – A 5-year-old girl who was hospitalized following a hit-and-run crash at an intersection in Austin last month has succumbed to her injuries.
According to the Austin police, the incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. March 21, on Teri Road and Palo Blanco Lane.
Police said a brown Toyota Venza was broadsided on its left side by a blue Dodge Ram near the intersection.
The occupants of the Venza were rushed to Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, where one of them later died.
The victim has been identified as Illianna Martinez, 5. The report showed that Martinez succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, March 31.
The occupants of the Ram fled the scene on foot after the incident.
There were no reports of arrests in connection with the collision.
The incident remains under investigation.
