Child Injured in Arcola Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 6 at Linda Street

Arcola, Texas – A child was injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Arcola, according to the deputies.

The crash happened around 12:37 p.m., December 18, on Highway 6 at Linda Street.

Deputies said a vehicle with a child passenger was traveling down Linda Street to cross SH 6 when it was struck by another car that had the right of way on the highway.

The child was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The crash closed the roadway for nearly two hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
