Two Killed in Garland Two-Vehicle Crash at South First and Washington Streets

Garland, Texas (March 28, 2023) – Two people were killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Garland, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 7:20 a.m., March 27, in the area of South First and Washington Streets, between West Miller Road and Avenue D.

Police said the crash involved a truck and a car.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was taken to the hospital. Officers also said one of the drivers is facing charges in the crash.

The crash closed both directions of First Street.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
