Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Francisco Street in Mission; Eluid Liam Barrera Charged

Man Injured in Mission Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Francisco Street; Eluid Liam Barrera Charged

Mission, Texas (January 11, 2020) – A 20-year-old man was injured in an alleged hit-and-run crash on Wednesday evening in Mission, according to the police.

The accident occurred just after 4:30 p.m. on January 8, in the 3200 block of Francisco Street.

Police said Eluid Liam Barrera, 20, was driving when he struck a 20-year-old man on the street.

The victim was taken to the hospital with a possible broken leg and required surgery.

Barrera fled the scene, but he later turned himself into the authorities on Friday.
