Rebecca Gartrell Rodriguez Killed in Odessa Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 302

Odessa, Texas (February 8, 2021) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Sunday in West Odessa, according to authorities.

The deadly accident occurred on February 7, on State Highway 302.

According to a preliminary investigation, Rodriguez was running eastbound on the improved shoulder of the highway when an eastbound vehicle left the roadway and hit her before fleeing the scene.

Rodriguez was killed in the accident.

The authorities are looking for the suspect.

The crash remains under investigation.
