Michael Sager and Dorothy Sager Injured in Somervell County Plane Crash at Brazos River

Somervell County, Texas (December 26, 2021) – Two people were injured Saturday afternoon in a small plane crash in Somervell County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m., on December 25, at the Brazos River.

Authorities said a 1942 Boeing single-engine biplane was flying low when it struck a power line and crashed into the Brazos River.

The pilot, 60-year-old Michael Sager, and his passenger, 73-year-old Dorothy Sager, both from Granbury, were airlifted to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth for treatment.

The FAA is investigating the crash.
