Woman Hit, Killed on East Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth

Woman Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on East Lancaster Avenue near Grandview Drive

Fort Worth, Texas (August 12, 2020) – A woman was fatally hit by a vehicle Sunday afternoon in Fort Worth, according to authorities.

The deadly accident happened at about 4:00 p.m., August 9, on East Lancaster Avenue near Grandview Drive.

Police said the woman was distracted, stepped into traffic, and was struck by a vehicle.

The woman was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where she later died.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident.

The police are investigating the crash.
