Jaden Woods Killed in Odessa Pedestrian Accident on JBS Parkway at Maple

Odessa, Texas – A person was hit and killed by a vehicle Wednesday evening in Odessa, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened on January 3, in the 3000 block of North JBS Parkway at Maple.

Officials said a black Ford Explorer was traveling northbound and was merging into the left-turn lane when it struck 21-year-old Jaden Woods who was standing in the roadway.

Woods was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
