3 Hospitalized after Bexar County VIA Bus Crash on Highway 181 South near Laguna Road

Bexar County, Texas (October 9, 2019) – Three people were hospitalized after a traffic collision Tuesday morning involving a VIA bus in southeast Bexar County, according to the deputies.

The collision took place around 6:30 a.m. October 8, on Highway 181 South near Laguna Road.

Deputies said a VIA bus driver turned onto the northbound lanes of Highway 181 South when a southbound van crashed into it.

The driver and two passengers in the van were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The bus driver and two others were treated at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation is underway.
