Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 45 North Freeway near Parker Road
Houston, Texas (April 19, 2022) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle late Monday night in Houston, police said.
The tragic crash happened at about 11:30 p.m. Monday, April 18, in the 6200 block of Interstate 45 North Freeway near Parker Road.
According to the police, the woman was walking across the northbound lanes of the freeway when she was hit by a vehicle.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The involved driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Police said the driver was not intoxicated.
The crash remains under investigation.
