Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident at East Houston and North Gevers Streets in San Antonio

One Seriously Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Accident at East Houston Street and North Gevers Street
San Antonio, Texas (May 12, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Friday night in an alleged hit-and-run accident at a San Antonio intersection, a local news source reported.
The accident took place at about 11:30 p.m. May 10, at the intersection of East Houston Street and North Gevers Street.
As per the report, a motorcyclist attempted to drive around a van that was driving out of control and the two vehicles collided at the intersection.
The impact caused the motorcycle to crash into a sidewalk, ejecting the rider and he landed on the concrete.
The van driver fled the scene after the collision.
The rider, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The authorities are looking for the van driver.
An investigation is underway.
