AUS Employee Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident at AUS Airport

Austin, Texas (November 1, 2023) – An Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) employee was hit and killed by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Austin, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened just before 9:30 a.m., at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS).

Officials said an on-duty airport employee was struck by a vehicle on the secure side of the airport where planes park for passengers to board, near gates 33 and 34. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

No additional information was available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
