3 Injured in Rollover Crash at Old Bee Caves and Thomas Springs Roads in SW Austin

Three Injured in SW Austin Two-Vehicle Crash at Old Bee Caves Road and Thomas Springs Road

Austin, Texas (October 21, 2021) – Three people were injured Wednesday night in a rollover crash in Southwest Austin, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 8:26 p.m., October 20, at the intersection of Old Bee Caves Road and Thomas Springs Road.

Authorities said two vehicles collided at the intersection, causing one of them to roll over.

One person was pinned in one of the vehicles. The victim, an adult, was freed and was airlifted to South Austin Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.

Another adult was taken by ambulance to South Austin Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.

A third victim sustained minor injuries and refused to be taken to the hospital.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
