Three Including Child Injured in Car Crash at FM 105 and Lakeview Cutoff in Orange County

Two Adults and One Child Injured in Orange County Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 105 and Lakeview Cutoff
Orange County, Texas (April 25, 2019) – Three people including a child were injured Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash at an Orange County intersection, according to a local news release.
The accident happened on Wednesday, April 24, at the intersection of FM 105 and Lakeview Cutoff.
According to a preliminary report, a KIA passenger vehicle was traveling northbound on FM 105 while a Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling southbound. The KIA driver tried to turn left onto Lakeview Cutoff and pulled directly into the path of the Chevrolet pickup truck. The KIA was hit on the passenger-side door by the Chevrolet.
The KIA driver, a 39-year-old Lumberton woman, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The KIA passenger, a child, was taken e to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries.
The Chevrolet driver, a 41-year-old Vidor man, was also taken to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries.
All northbound and southbound lanes of FM 105 were closed following the crash.  
The crash remains under investigation.
