Brenda Jodoin Killed in North Abilene Pedestrian Accident on Pine Street

Abilene, Texas – The woman who was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run accident in North Abilene has been identified as 58-year-old Brenda Ann Janiszewski Jodoin of Virginia, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened around 9:40 p.m., February 16, in the 3100 block of Pine Street.

Officials said a vehicle was traveling on the street when it struck Jodoin who was in the roadway. The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Jodoin was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Abilene Police Department (APD) is investigating the crash. Anyone with any information is asked to call APD at (325) 673-8331 or the Abilene Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous and eligible for a cash reward at (325) 676-8477.
