Woman Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 30 at Eastchase Parkway

Fort Worth, Texas (May 30, 2022) – A woman was killed in an early Monday morning hit-and-run crash on an interstate in Fort Worth, according to Fort Worth police.

The fatal pedestrian accident occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Interstate 30 at Eastchase Parkway.

Police said a vehicle struck the woman in the eastbound lanes of the interstate.

The woman died in the crash. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Authorities mentioned that a driver later came to Arlington Memorial Hospital saying they were injured as a result of a car accident and needed help.

Investigators later determined the motorist was involved in the hit and run. The suspect was ultimately arrested.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
