Man Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Gateway East

El Paso, Texas (April 13, 2020) – According to the police, a man was killed in a pedestrian accident early Sunday morning in El Paso.

The deadly accident happened just after midnight, April 12, in the 7700 block of Gateway East at Giles.

Police said the man was crossing the street when he was struck by a 2007 Cadillac, driven by Manuel Marquez, 31.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

Marquez stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The El Paso Police Department Traffic Investigations Unit is investigating the accident.
