Rodolfo Loya Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Hunter Road in El Paso

Rodolfo Loya ID’d as Man Killed in El Paso Crash on Hunter Road

El Paso, Texas (August 31, 2022) – Authorities have identified the man who died following a traffic collision Monday in El Paso as Rodolfo Loya.

The fatal crash happened in the 1800 block of Hunter Road on August 29.

Authorities said a 2000 Ford Taurus, driven by Loya, was pulling out of the parking lot at the Food City when he failed to yield the right of way to a 2011 Nissan Sentra, driven by Miguel Nevarez, 25.

The Sentra ultimately struck the Taurus.

Loya was taken to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
